Le 7 novembre 1990 un ovni est apparu au-dessus de la Place Bonaventure à Montréal. Le Commandant de la SPCUM 47ème District, Robert Masson, avait suivi l’affaire. A ce qu’il paraît, dès le lendemain 8 novembre, tous les rapports de la police municipale et de la GRC sur l’événement étaient devenus inaccessibles. Deux agents du North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) avaient reçu l’ordre de rapatrier tous les rapports relatifs à cette apparition.
