De nos jours, il semble fastidieux de devoir  réaliser une chirurgie pour implanter les victimes de surveillance par des forces extérieures. Police State Technology: Implanting a GPS-microchip in the body of a human being, using a high powered sniper rifle

Empire North, implanté à Copenhague, Danemark, a présenté un nouveau dispositif destiné au maintien de l’ordre, appelé Fusil ID Sniper (Tireur embusqué). Selon leur documentation marketing, le Fusil ID Sniper est utilisé pour implanter une puce électronique GPS dans le corps d’un être humain. Il s’agit d’un fusil-sniper à haute propulsion pouvant injecter à très longue  distance. Cette micropuce pénètre dans le corps et y reste,sans causer aucun dommage interne. Le fabricant déclare que la douleur physique causée par le processus est pratiquement inexistente,au moment où la micropuce pénètre dans le corps d’un être humain à son insu, car la sensation est semblable à la piqûre d’un moustique, pendant juste une fraction de seconde. Parallèlement à cela, un caméscope numérique avec un objectif zoom ad hoc prendra une photo à haute résolution de la cible. La cible, dans ce cas-là, est un être humain.

This microchip enters the body and remains there without causing any internal damage. The manufacturer says the process brings little physical pain as the micro chip enters the body of an unsuspecting human, similar to a mosquito bite lasting just a fraction of a second. At the same time this occurs, a digital camcorder with a zoom-lense fitted within the scope will  take a high-resolution picture of the target. The target in this case is a human being.
