Snowden’s Targeted Individual Smoking Gun: DEA Manuals Show Feds Use NSA Spy Data, Train Cops To Fake Evidence
Edward Snowden’s government spying information has on Thursday finally been directly linked to innocent Targeted Individuals nationwide. Manuals detail how Drug Enforcement Administration agents should coach local police to use what they know, illegally obtained information, to construct false chains of evidence against innocent targeted individuals.
The Drug Enforcement Administration, the federal police agency created to supposedly fight the war on drugs, has funneled illegal NSA surveillance to local police agencies, taught police to lie about evidence, violate the law and conceal all of it, says Black Agenda Report that provides evidence.
Snowden’s new disclosures allow us to see online the DEA training manuals teaching DEA agents to coach local police departments across the country how to lie about chains of evidence and sources, how to willfully violate the law and cover their tracks in thousands or tens of thousands of cases every year to fill cells of US prison state with drug defendants, reports Black Agenda Report’s Bruce Dixon.
It’s all part of the “war on terror” money-making machine, ultimately for the 1% at the expense of innocent people.
“This is not hype. This is not exaggeration. It’s the literal truth. You can read the DEA’s own manuals online at Muckrock.Org,”Dixon asserts.
MuckRock.org is a project funded by the Sunlight Foundation, assisting journalists and citizens make and disseminate results of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests from federal, state and local levels.
“Thanks to one such recent request, you can now go to the MuckRock.Org site and view copies of the DEA’s own training materials,” Dixon says. “These materials depict an amoral, out of control police regime respecting no Constitution and no laws.
“DEA agents are told the evidence is unconstitutionally obtained, and that this has to be concealed from prosecutors, judges and above all from the public, some of which is still under the quaint notion that there are laws even cops and prosecutors must obey.
The manuals cynically spell out how DEA agents should coach local police departments to use what they know is illegally obtained information to construct false chains of evidence, says Dixon.
“This is a literal smoking gun that depicts how the intelligence apparatus seamlessly blends with federal and local cops to prosecute the 40 years failed war on drugs, the greedy front end of the US prison state. It’s not “conspiracy theory”. It’s a fact.”
As Dixon points out, many American voices have pooh-poohed the significance of Edward Snowden and his revelations. TV talking heads gain views by calling him a traitor.
“If Edward Snowden hadn’t told us the NSA was gathering this evidence, and the DEA was using it, we’d never have known,” Dixon says. “So if Snowden is indeed a traitor he betrayed the cops not us. If he’s a spy, he’s spying for the people, not for the prison state, which is a problem for some of our black misleadership class.”
While this new informaiton offered by Snowden does not fully detail how all Targeted Individuals are persecuted despite their innocense, it does shed much needed light on how lies and corrpupt surveillance tools are used on tens of thousands of mainly innocent black people.
This is not the end of information needed on crimes against Targeted Individual phenomenon. It is, however, a giant step forward in explaining how an increasing number of innocent people of all walks of life are used and abused in a massive government dragnet for the gain of the 1%.
